  Details: A welcome meeting for all of our producers this semester. We will go over key dates, deadlines, upcoming training sessions and everything you need to know about EmChan.

• Producer Training Session (1 of 2)

  Location: Ansin 303
  Details: First of two training sessions to go over everything you need for a successful production. All producers are welcome to take part. New producers must attend.

September 11th

• Org Fair
  Time: 11a-2p
  Location: Bobbi Brown and Steven Plofker Gym
  Details: Annual campus event held at the start of the fall semester. It lets new and returning students explore over 100 student-run clubs, media groups, publications, and-special interest organizations. Come say hi to the EmChan staff!

• Producer Training Session
  Time: 2:30pm

  Details: Second training session. Producers will have opportunity to create a live news update.

September 16th

• EmChan Upfronts
  Time: 7pm
  Location: DiBona TV Studio
  Details: An interactive production fair for new students to learn more about EmChan. Shows for the semester will be revealed. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the channel, open positions and sign up for interviews.

September 18th-20th

• Recruitment Weekend
  Time: Signups for time slots will take place at the OrgFair and the EmChan Upfront
  Location: As assigned
  About: Students will have opportunity to interview for open crew positions on EmChan productions.

September 21st

• Crew Draft

  About: Senior staff will gather with reps from each show to select their crew for the semester.

• Crew Training Sessions

  About: Placed on EmChan show? We will be holding crew training for all positions. Lighting, Audio, Shading, Cameras, Xpression, etc. Attend one or several of these sessions. Dates and Times to be announced soon!
